Summer Associate David Stearns is pursuing his legal studies at New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. This year marks David's second summer with Chadbourne Law Offices, where he assists the attorneys with legal research, drafting pleadings, and trial preparation. In 2006, David also served as a Student Attorney for the New England School of Law Civil Litigation Clinic where he represented clients in family law matters and Social Security Disability actions. David is expected to obtain his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in May of 2008 and has been a Summer Associate with Chadbourne Law Offices, P.A., since 2006.

Prior to law school, David received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern Maine with a double major in History and International Studies. He was a member of the Board of Student Organizations and the Model United Nations. In 2004, David served as the Under Secretary General for the Maine Model United Nations Conference. While in college, David represented his school at the Harvard World Model United Nations Conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, and studied at the University of Havana, Cuba.

Outside of school and work, David enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing racquetball, and improving his golf swing. His travels have taken him to Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
