Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Harper served as Director of Corporate Compliance for Kinko's Service Corporation, Inc., now FedEx Kinko's, and served as in house corporate counsel to one of California's largest labor staffing corporations focusing upon employment law and ERISA regulations and EEOC compliance.
LITIGATION AND TRIAL COUNSEL
Ms. Harper has extensive experience if all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, administrative hearings, appeals, arbitrations and mediations. As a previous general partner and running a firm with four offices and a staff of fifteen, she has conducted trials and hearings in all the courts within Ventura and Los Angeles counties, calling both Ventura and Los Angeles her home courts. Ms. Harper also has experience in litigation before the Santa Barbara Superior Courts while serving as counsel and associate attorney to Santa Barbara corporations and a Santa Barbara law firm.
Ms. Harper has civilly prosecuted perpetrators of domestic violence through a Department of Justice grant under the Violence Against Women Act protecting victims of domestic violence. She has argued cases before the United States Hague Court for matters of international child abduction, the California Court of Appeals, and California Superior Court. Ms. Harper has published case law in the area of the admissibility of DNA evidence post mortem for purposes of establishing intestate inheritance rights for purposes of probate.

Ms. Harper's experience includes eclectic and extensive work with over thirteen years trial experience in the areas of business law, copyright and trademark law, estate planning, probate, employment law, administrative hearings, domestic violence prosecution, civil and family law litigation. She also practices before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.

Recently, Ms. Harper has been accepted for registration and licensure before the NASD and is currently a registered investment advisor. Ms. Harper's litigation and legal knowledge lends itself in the investment field to greater understanding and protection of client's corporate and personal assets and wealth protection and maximization.

Ms. Harper is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, 9th Circuit, and California Supreme Court and practices before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Trademark Trial and Appeals Board. She is a member of the Ventura and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, and Business and Intellectual Property Sections of the State Bar of California. She is a member of the CPA Law Society, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, Kiwanis International, and Daughters of the American Revolution Member and Mother Daughter Cameo Club Lifetime Member. Ms. Harper is a proud Supporter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She is a Graduate of Ventura College of Law; Marymount College; Regent's College, London, England; and La Reina High School.
