Attorney ROBERT D. ANDERSON, Esq.   

In 1979, after 4-years of night law school, while working days as an architectural draftsman, Robert Anderson graduated with Honors (cum laude) from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, placing in the top 4% of his class.

His legal career started in a 30 attorney, downtown L.A. litigation and appellate practice law firm.  In 1980, he moved to the smaller, but prestigious Encino law firm headed by top trial attorney John G. Bonelli, the 1979 Southern California Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year.

Robert Anderson has handled cases involving a few thousand dollars to those involving millions.  He has made countless court appearances, took hundreds of depositions, and tried  hundreds of family law cases and hearings, as well as jury trials in both State and Federal Court.  He has argued and briefed cases before the Court of Appeal and his name appears in three reported cases.  He has participated in or conducted over 300 judicial arbitrations.

In 1996 he passed the State Bar Family Law Certification Exam.  To qualify to sit for the Certification Exam, he had to complete classroom training and have courtroom experience in such matters.  Additionally, he had to obtain the acknowledgment by other lawyers of his competency to handle Family Law Cases.

As community service, from 2000-2007, Robert Anderson sat as a Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing and deciding Family Law and Restraining Order matters.

Robert Anderson enjoys professional and collegial relationships with other Family Law Attorneys in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.  He also enjoys a good professional reputation before the Family Law Judges he has appears before.
