  • Steve obtained a $1,800,000 products liability jury verdict for a long-haul trucker and his wife; because of a defective safety belt system, the trucker permanently lost his ability to work and play when he was thrown out of the truck's bunk compartment and onto the protruding instrument panel of a Freightliner Condo sleeper cab.

  • Through settlements and private binding arbitration in R.I, Steve obtained a $350,000 resolution for an Aquidneck Island private entrepreneur who performed high tech soldering work and whose right hand was permanently damaged in an automobile crash.

  • With co-counsel from Indiana, Steve obtained an injunction and later a $65 million commercial fraud judgment in the United States Federal District Court for Southern California on behalf of the Commercial Assigned Risk Insurance Plan, headquartered in Rhode Island, protecting their market in commercial trucking insurance.

  • Steve has successfully litigated several human rights claims such as age and sex discrimination on behalf of both employers and employees at the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights and the Rhode Island Superior Court.

  • Steve has resolved by multi-state litigation both embezzlement and accountancy malpractice claims made by his small business clients in R.I., resulting in recoveries of over $250,000.

  • Steve obtained a products liability jury award in the amount of $185,000 for a Pawtucket grandmother whose right thumb, index finger and related nerves were severely lacerated and permanently damaged when she used an Osterizer Blender to make a milk shake for her three grandchildren; the blades disengaged into her hand.
